  • 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 13 tablespoons milk
  • green food coloring
  • black food coloring (optional)
  • Round green sprinkles
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Candy eyeballs
  • Pretzel sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease mini muffin pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, canola oil, and optional black food coloring until combined.
  3. Scoop about 1/2 tablespoon of dough into each muffin cup, gently flattening it.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set; press an indentation in each warm cookie and cool completely.
  5. For the frosting, beat softened butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and milk until smooth. Mix in green food coloring.
  6. Pipe frosting into cooled cookie cups and decorate with sprinkles and candy eyes.
